Aparicio uses a solution-focused approach with clients. He seeks to allow his clients to tell him about who they are and likes to work together with his clients in order to help them achieve their treatment goals.

Aparicio views the counseling process as a means and a path to help clients learn to manage their own concerns and challenges.

Aparicio is a single parent, and his favorite hobbies are learning new things, working out five days a week, and trading stocks. His personal goal is to learn how to play golf in the upcoming year.
