Dr. Tracy Cudjoe, Ph.D., LMSW

Practicing Since: 2013
Dr. Cudjoe strives to create a culturally responsive, traumatic-informed environment where her clients feel safe, understood and empowered. Treatment is collaborative and tailored to each client’s unique needs, with particular expertise in anxiety, mood disorders, substance use, trauma, and BIPOC specific issues. And she focuses on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) treatment options with her clients.
Her therapeutic style integrates multicultural counseling principles, with a strong foundation in crisis intervention and family systems. Dr. Cudjoe believes the therapeutic process is a collaborative journey, where clients are the experts of their own experiences. She recognizes that healing requires addressing the whole person, including immediate concerns and underlying factors that impact mental health.
Dr. Cudjoe holds a Ph.D. in Social Work, where her university dissertation research focused on drug use disorders and treatment services among women. She also holds a Masters of Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health and Addictions.
When she’s not in the therapy room, you’ll likely find Dr. Cudjoe pursuing various creative activities that help her maintain her own mental wellness. She’s passionate about artistic hobbies like pottery painting, drawing, and diamond painting. She also loves expressing creativity through cupcake decorating – there’s something incredibly satisfying and relaxing about creating beautiful, edible art! And being from the Caribbean, Dr. Cudjoe has a deep love for Soca music and Caribbean cuisine, which helps keep her connected to her cultural roots.
Dr. Tracy Cudjoe is licensed in the state of Maryland (#32413) under the clinical supervision of Sally Fogle, LCSW-C (#09168)
