Anyone that wishes to work with Jason can expect a safe space to reflect and challenge oneself along their pilgrimage of life. Jason has an eclectic and person-centered approach, using Existential and Spiritual principles integrated with Cognitive Behavioral, Reality-based, and Expressive Arts Therapies. Other treatment orientations include Logotherapy, Existentialism, and Reality Therapy.
Jason has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with a myriad of presenting concerns, such as substance use, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, bipolar, and trauma. Jason earned his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. He is a published poet and nonfiction writer, yet his visual art skills leave him plenty of room for growth and self-exploration. He’s a dog-person and mixes-up how he takes his coffee depending on the day.
